STORYTELLING FROM WASHINGTON IRVING


Storyteller Jiaan Powers will share a story by America’s First Man of Letters Washington Irving as well as other tales as part of the 15th Annual Celebrating Irving: The City and The Man events. Starting at 12 noon, the activities will be held in the Jack D. Huffman Building Auditorium at 801 West Irving Blvd. A free box lunch will be provided to the first 75 youth attending.

Autographed books of tales by Washington Irving as retold by artist/author/illustrator Will Moses, plus gift certificates for free admission to the Irving Archives and Museum as well as other prizes will be distributed to attendees. The event is free and open to the public.
